We're now 8+ months into a global health pandemic and real estate has never been hotter!
Even still, sellers are, understandably, reluctant right now to have strangers traipsing through their properties and we get that! We have developed a detailed strategy to keep everybody as safe as possible.
What are we doing? We're glad you asked.
First, whenever possible, we recommend sellers move out of the property prior to showings starting. We know this isn't always a practical alternative, so we are doing the following for all listings, whether or not the sellers are residing in the property during showings:
We are providing beautiful photography, drone footage, floorplans and virtual tours all showcased on a single property website with an easy to remember URL for easy access to property details
We are actively advertising the single property website and asking potential buyers to view the site prior to requesting an in person showing
Virtual open houses will be scheduled and advertised where one of our agents is available online to give tours in a "live" format and answer questions in real-time
Private tours online in "live" format will also be offered and encouraged
If in-person tours are still requested after virtual tours, we will take the following steps:
no lockbox - all showings will be supervised by us
one showing at a time, pre-scheduled
no showing without a prequalification letter from a lender or some other proof that the touring party is a serious buyer
showings will be limited to three people in a party
our agent will arrive early and open doors, cupboards, blinds and other items to discourage extra touches by additional people
booties, masks and hand sanitizer will be required on entry
all touched surfaces will be sanitized after the showing
